PH: Our mildly acidic formula is optimized for scalp health and ideal to cleanse without stripping natural oils or disturbing the moisture barrier. Textured hair has a fragile cuticle, and a lower pH also helps to smooth. 

CHARGE: A cationic charge attracts ingredients into the strands to improve the performance of key ingredients. 

POLAR OILS: We use polar oils, like Baobab, because they penetrate textured hair and strengthen its structure and prevent damage from styling without leaving a residue.

• ALOE VERA JUICE: Imparts hydration and soothes the scalp. Brazilian Patauá Fruit Oil- This sustainably harvested oil from the Amazon strengthens follicles and supports hair growth.
• COCONUT OIL: A polar oil that reinforces the hair shaft without leaving buildup.
• BAOBAB OIL: A “scalp fertilizer” with fatty acids and vitamin C to nourish, and the unique ability to penetrate the cortex of dry hair to strengthen.

BEHENTRIMONIUM METHOSULFATE: This plant-derived compound sounds scary—but trust us, it’s not one of those “bad” sulfates! Not only is this ingredient perfectly safe, curls love it. It moisturizes and conditions the hair shaft and adds extra slip for easier combing, styling, and maintenance. 

PLANT-BASED COPOLYMER: Made from castor and coconut oil, this natural silicone alternative adds slip to make hair more manageable, smooth, and shiny. 

MOISTURE BOOSTING AMINO ACID COMPLEX: Hydrates curls and adds shine.
